ASCO: Oxaliplatin does not improve outcomes for rectal cancer
ASCO press conference: Adding oxaliplatin (Eloxatin) to standard treatment in patients with locally advanced rectal cancer does not improve tumour response. A preliminary analysis, however, suggests the treatment may reduce distant metastases.
