Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) for head and neck cancer patients

Dr. Nutting discusses the results of the Phase III randomised clinical trial testing a new form of radiotherapy called intensity-modulated radiation therapy. The trial analysed the ability of this technology to reduce the radiation dose of the salivary gland in patients undergoing therapy for head and neck cancer.
